One of my favorite quotes when it comes to success comes from Dave Ramsey which is
“live like no one else so you can live like no one else”.
Now, Dave Ramsey is famous for helping people get out of debt and getting out of debt takes a lot of work and sacrifice.
For many being really disciplined and sacrificing things they enjoy for 1-2 years is what is required for them to live debt free.
For Dave Ramsey being debt free and not stressing about money is “living like no one else”.
I am not here to teach you how to get debt free but I am here to tell you that any goal worth achieving is going to take sacrifice.
Almost all goals require sacrificing time, energy, or money in some aspect.
I have yet to find anyone who was successful at anything that didn’t have to sacrifice time, energy, or money to reach their goals.
If you want to lose weight you are going to have to sacrifice time…
You will need to sacrifice 1 ½ – 3 hours a week to workout.
You will need to sacrifice 2-3 hours a week to plan your meals and food prep.
You will need to sacrifice TV time and Phone time so you can get to bed at a decent hour and get your sleep in.
Time on this earth is the most precious thing we have and many of us are pulled from 100’s of directions whether it be work, family, and friends and often times it may feel like we just don’t have the time to take care of ourselves.
Can you relate?
Anytime you take time away from your family to workout or food prep can be extremely hard and you may even feel selfish for doing it, but if the goal is to live a happy and healthy life then it’s a sacrifice that must be made.

If you are going to reach your goals you going to have to sacrifice energy…
It goes without saying but you are going to have to put energy into your workouts and your food…. But we can argue there is a positive net gain in the energy you get back in return.
There are going to be many days throughout the journey that you just don’t want to have to sacrifice the necessary time or energy but that is an average mindset and if you want to achieve above average results you have to be willing to put in the work!
Energy is the work, are you willing to sacrifice it to reach your goals?
If you are going to reach your goals you are going to have to sacrifice money…
We can have a debate that eating healthier is more expensive then eating none healthy food but I am not here to do that today.
Eating healthier food can and may be more expensive so the question is are you willing to sacrifice to ensure you are eating things that nourish your body and help you reach your fitness goals?
Paying for a gym membership is a sacrifice.
Paying for the best training is a sacrifice.
This list is not exhaustive and I could go on for days about the sacrifices required for success but here is what I know.

Winners and Goal Achievers SACRIFICE more than others.
Winners and Goal Achievers SACRIFICE when it hurts
Winners and Goal Achievers SACRIFICE even when they think they have nothing left to give.
Winners and Goal Achievers continue to SACRIFICE even after they reach their goals.
There is always going to be a price to be paid via sacrifice, ALWAYS.
There will never be a day if you want to be a WINNER and GOAL ACHIEVER that sacrifice isn’t required.
Those willing to pay the price (SACRIFICE) will continue to win and achieve and those unwilling to pay it will continue to not achieve their goals.
The best part is everyone can sacrifice…. It’s not something you’re born with or can be found encoded on your DNA.
