Quick Sesame Kale


4 servings

  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


1 Remove ribs and stems from kale leaves and chop the leaves
2 Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat
3 Add shallot and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until it starts to soften.
4 Add the leaves a little at a time, tossing to coat with oil.
5 When they are wilted (2-3 minutes), add the garlic, sesame oil, and coconut aminos.
6 Cook until all the leaves are wilted, another 3-4 minutes.
7 Taste and add salt and pepper if desired.
